Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is the first time we have EVER had Thanksgiving at home with just our family. As much as we miss our families back in Utah, we really liked the slow pace of this day. We made our first turkey together with most of the fixins (we forgot about the sweet potatoes--next year!).

Katelyn and I even made real
homemade rolls (with gluten) because we just really wanted to. It was so fun to not have to be anywhere and just enjoy each other.

After our naps, watching the game, and a little bit of Mary Poppins, we headed for what may become a new tradition--hot tubbing. Doesn't every one do that on Thanksgiving?? Thinking of you all tonight and wishing you were here. As Zachie says, "Happy Kanksgiving!"

Happy Thanksgiving to you my dear friend. Arizona looks good on you guys. I remember all those Thanksgivings with just our little family and it was a fun time to do what we wanted and not feel rushed or stressed. I miss you!

Great pictures! I love the quiet holidays that you can even sneak a nap in! We chose the wild crazy big family thanksgiving this year. It was great fun and our first thanksgiving in Utah since 2002! Thanksgiving fun. Long drive home not fun.

I am so glad that you were able to have a relaxing Thanksgiving! Those are good memories for your whole family! Hottubbing? I could get used to a tradition like that! Especially when it only reaches a high of about 18 degrees, like it did last week! Enjoy the warm weather in AZ!
