The Gladiator Came Back

I thought I better post part two of the Gladiator saga. If you didn't catch the first part, the Gladiator is the name of our TV. I kicked out the Gladiator because of the garbage it kept throwing out into our home and the fact that our kids were fascinated with passively watching whatever he would do next. He sat in our garage, totally cut off from any power source for quite a long time. It was really quite pleasant. We fought much less, got a whole lot more done, and even found time to do the things that we really wanted to do. But, the male counterparts in our home kind of missed the barbarism, especially in the form of college basketball. So, Brian got rid of the big, ugly Gladiator and bought a slightly smaller, less intrusive Gladiator that remains locked up behind the doors of our armoire most of the week. For the most part, this one has behaved himself. He only comes out for a Friday night movie, and maybe for a basketball game after the kids are in bed. I admit I kind of like having access to BYU TV, so I guess there is some good in having him around. It would be nice if he would do some dusting while he is just sitting around waiting for us, though.

I think if the TV actually has a name then that may be the first sign that you are a little too close. LOL.
